MY food philosophy
"Cooking demands attention, patience and above all, a respect for the gift of the earth. It is a form of worship, a way to give thanks."

All good food begins with good ingredients. For me, choosing the right ingredients is what matters most. I want to know where my food comes from, who grows it—and how. I look for fresh food that is in season, which is why I like to shop at local Farmers Markets. How does it look and how does it smell? That's what I take into consideration when I choose my ingredients. Cooking to me is therapy; it is both healing and rewarding, and if all goes well, I end up with a delicious meal that I can share with my friends and family.
